The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikhail Drozdov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Mikhail Drozdov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Surgut FC booed when Berezniki HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evsey Burkanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerasim Pugachev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rasul Berezutskiy's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Vitaliy Antipov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniil Lyagushin helped the player get up and apologised. 20 minutes into the game, Vitaliy Kalashnikov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Daniil Anyukov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerasim Pugachev came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Surgut FC's Vitaliy Antipov. But to his dismay, Vitaliy Antipov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Rasul Berezutskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surgut FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rasul Berezutskiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerasim Pugachev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vitaliy Antipov scored 1-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerasim Pugachev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vitaliy Antipov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerasim Pugachev having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Vitaliy Kalashnikov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berezniki HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitaliy Kalashnikov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniil Anyukov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Foma Bolman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Surgut FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitaliy Antipov made a kick off. Surgut FC's Stanislav Burnashov got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Foma Bolman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Daniil Anyukov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Vitaliy Kalashnikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniil Anyukov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evsey Burkanov charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evsey Burkanov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Berezniki HC got a freekick which was hit by Evsey Burkanov. Rasul Berezutskiy's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gerasim Pugachev firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 78th minute, Silantiy Kosobryuhov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rasul Berezutskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arkadiy Kolesnikov kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Gerasim Pugachev came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Surgut FC's Vitaliy Antipov. But to his dismay, Vitaliy Antipov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 90th minute, Foma Bolman made a precise shot to the right of Daniil Anyukov. Surgut FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3.
