Klim Iskander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Danil Shiryakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artem's Nazar Igonin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksandr Alaev in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gleb Antonov during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Artem's Klim Iskander got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danil Shiryakov in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Moiseenko saved Kirov FC from getting behind. Danil Shiryakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Moiseenko having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Kirov FC's goal looked a bit too open when Klim Iskander came free, but Igor Moiseenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Vyacheslav Zatsepin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes Vladimir Belyh shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Kirov FC's Igor Moiseenko to catch but Vladimir Belyh was lucky. It became 1-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Artem's Gleb Antonov got a free kick in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stanislav Fomin in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nazar Igonin saved Artem from getting behind. Igor Moiseenko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klim Iskander's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Danil Shiryakov might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Moiseenko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danil Shiryakov ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute, Artem's Klim Iskander dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Artem's Danil Shiryakov got a free kick in the 71st minute. Gleb Antonov was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Kirov FC booed when Artem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gleb Antonov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Aleksandr Alaev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Artem's Nazar Igonin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artem's Nazar Igonin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksandr Alaev in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksandr Alaev in the 80th minute of play forced Artem's goalkeeper Nazar Igonin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislav Fomin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nazar Igonin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanislav Fomin scored 2-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nazar Igonin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Kirov FC's Mark Nikitin got a free kick in the 97th minute.
