Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Evgeniy Savinskiy started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute Valentin Babich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergey Koryshev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pskov's zone, Vasiliy Belyavskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergey Koryshev came out of the goal and Vasiliy Belyavskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Stavropol's goal looked a bit too open when Evgeniy Savinskiy came free, but Leonid Ilemnitskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maksim Vasenin might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonid Ilemnitskiy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maksim Vasenin ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonid Ilemnitskiy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timofey Pakhomov in the 11th minute. Leonid Ilemnitskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lazar Zaitsev in the 21st minute of play. Evgeniy Savinskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evgeniy Savinskiy in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonid Ilemnitskiy saved Stavropol from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Evgeniy Savinskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonid Ilemnitskiy was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vasiliy Belyavskiy to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Pskov getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Artem Kostin hit a great ball. Leonid Ilemnitskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timofey Pakhomov in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Evgeniy Savinskiy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stavropol's Leonid Ilemnitskiy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Evgeniy Savinskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pskov's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evgeniy Savinskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timofey Pakhomov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonid Ilemnitskiy having to interfere. Evgeniy Savinskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Leonid Ilemnitskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evgeniy Savinskiy took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonid Ilemnitskiy. Leonid Ilemnitskiy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Evgeniy Savinskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pskov's defense didn't have a chance, in the 98th minute, when Vasiliy Belyavskiy scored to the left of an out of position Sergey Koryshev, making the score, 3-1. Pskov's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
