Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fedor Makarov started the match with the kick off. If Fedor Makarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tomsk FC's Panteleimon Benediktov got a free kick in the 6th minute. Afanasiy Medennikov acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ippolit Afinogenov. Danil Kupreyanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artem Horoshko having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Sergey Rubinshtein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, Marat Veselov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tomsk FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaroslavl HC the free kick. A collision led to Tomsk FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Panteleimon Benediktov hit a great ball. Marat Veselov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artem Horoshko having to interfere. If Danil Kupreyanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danil Kupreyanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marat Veselov was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Yaroslavl HC's Valeriy Vzmetnev got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute Marat Veselov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artem Horoshko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergey Izmailov during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Yaroslavl HC's Artem Horoshko got control of the ball when Danil Kupreyanov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 62 played minutes Yaroslavl HC got a freekick which was hit by Sergey Rubinshtein. In the 63rd minute of the match Mikhail Kuritsyn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artem Horoshko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yaroslavl HC's Artem Horoshko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marat Veselov in the 64th minute of play. When Sergey Rubinshtein fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaroslavl HC's protests and gave Sergey Rubinshtein a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Yaroslavl HC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sergey Rubinshtein hit a great ball. Yaroslavl HC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Marat Veselov scored to the left of an out of position Artem Horoshko, making the score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Tomsk FC's Panteleimon Benediktov got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Roman Vinitskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Artem Horoshko managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Tomsk FC's Danil Kupreyanov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Danil Kupreyanov came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Tomsk FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danil Kupreyanov couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Marat Veselov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Artem Horoshko. The goal made the score 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Zabludovskiy in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afanasiy Medennikov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Zabludovskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Afanasiy Medennikov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedor Makarov in the 89th minute of play forced Tomsk FC's goalkeeper Afanasiy Medennikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artem Horoshko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marat Veselov, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Fedor Makarov made a precise shot to the right of Afanasiy Medennikov. Tomsk FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Tomsk FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
