Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dmitriy Mironenko took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Vladivostok got a freekick which was hit by Andrey Smertin. Dmitriy Kerzhakov hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Vladivostok's Andrey Smertin suffered a concussion after 8 minutes and had to leave the field. 8 minutes into the game, Sergey Leonov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sibir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vladivostok the free kick. After 9 played minutes Sibir got a freekick which was hit by Sergey Leonov. Sibir's Andrey Sidelnikov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Sibir from getting a goal against them. When Dmitriy Mironenko came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Vladivostok fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dmitriy Mironenko couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the game, Aleksandr Shimanovich cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Andrey Sidelnikov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fedor Haritonov hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Semen Shakhovskoy struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Vasiliy Lesnov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sibir. Vasiliy Lesnov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Semen Shakhovskoy in the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sibir's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pahom Anihanov was slow to take the kick. During this time Vladivostok's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Vladivostok's corner Aleksandr Noskov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andrey Sidelnikov quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Sibir booed when Vladivostok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dmitriy Mironenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aleksandr Shimanovich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Andrey Sidelnikov made a huge save. If Andrey Samonov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrey Samonov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasiliy Lesnov having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Semen Shakhovskoy was the one to do the kick off. Aleksandr Shimanovich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Andrey Sidelnikov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleksandr Shimanovich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrey Sidelnikov having to interfere. Sergey Leonov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Aleksandr Shimanovich quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.
