Nizhnekamsk FC's Daniil Ishutin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Khasavyurt HC. In the 24th minute of the match Pavel Bolshakov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Gidulyanov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anton Gidulyanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirill Kolobov, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. David Erdneev kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Vladimir Kolesnikov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Gidulyanov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute Zinoviy Babitskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergey Semakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zinoviy Babitskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zinoviy Babitskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sergey Semakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zinoviy Babitskiy was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Khasavyurt HC booed when Nizhnekamsk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiy Rozhkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Kirill Kolobov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anton Gidulyanov. That made the score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. A collision led to Nizhnekamsk FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. David Erdneev hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Zinoviy Babitskiy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nizhnekamsk FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Sergey Semakov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordey Byshovets in the 71st minute of the match. Sergey Semakov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zinoviy Babitskiy's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Khasavyurt HC's goalkeeper Sergey Semakov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Denis Afinogenov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergey Semakov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordey Byshovets in the 85th minute of the match. Zinoviy Babitskiy struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Sergey Semakov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nizhnekamsk FC.
