Danil Tulupov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Rostov-on-Don's Lev Kindeev got a free kick in the 4th minute. Rostov-on-Don's Petr Pylev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Novozhilov in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Kemerovo's Vladislav Gusakovskiy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Vladislav Gusakovskiy's late challenge caught a Rostov-on-Don's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladislav Gusakovskiy helped the player get up and apologised. Vladislav Gusakovskiy hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Rostov-on-Don's Danil Tulupov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danila Alekseev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Rostov-on-Don getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Georgiy Levenchuk hit a great ball. Igor Osipovs short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Petr Pylev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Petr Pylev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Novozhilov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danila Alekseev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Potap Dzamihov in the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rostov-on-Don's zone, Igor Osipov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petr Pylev came out of the goal and Igor Osipov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albert Novozhilov struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Petr Pylev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kemerovo. 40 minutes into the match, Kemerovo's Albert Novozhilov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Pylev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Kemerovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitaliy Bessonov to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Danil Tulupov notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kemerovo's Danila Alekseev. Danila Alekseev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After having played for 52 minutes, Igor Osipov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kemerovo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Osipov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Kemerovo's Albert Novozhilov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Pylev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Albert Novozhilov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Rostov-on-Don's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Osipov came free, but Petr Pylev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rostov-on-Don's Petr Pylev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Osipov in the 80th minute of play. Petr Pylev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Novozhilov's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Osipov in the 86th minute of play forced Rostov-on-Don's goalkeeper Petr Pylev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potap Dzamihov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kemerovo's Danila Alekseev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danil Tulupov in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Georgiy Levenchuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petr Pylev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Novozhilov in the 96th minute of the match. Igor Osipov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petr Pylev having to make a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rostov-on-Don players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kemerovo.
