Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ukhta's Vitaliy Derevyagin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stepan Chernovskiy hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Hristofor Averchenko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Usov in the 3rd minute. In the 4th match minute, Ukhta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolay Platoshin to maneuver through the defense. Ruslan Baturov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniil Tatushin, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Mikhail Hadarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruslan Baturov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirill Kerzhakov in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Kirill Kerzhakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Baturov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kirill Kerzhakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ruslan Baturov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Металлург's Kirill Kerzhakov got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vyacheslav Balyasinskiy struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Hristofor Averchenko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ukhta. Vitaliy Derevyagin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kirill Kerzhakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruslan Baturov having to interfere. Ruslan Baturov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kirill Kerzhakov went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute, Mikhail Hadarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vitaliy Derevyagin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hristofor Averchenko having to make a save. Vyacheslav Balyasinskiy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Hristofor Averchenko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 47 minutes into the match, Ukhta's goal looked a bit too open when Mikhail Hadarin came free, but Ruslan Baturov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Металлург were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kirill Kerzhakov was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Ukhta got a freekick which was hit by Lev Filipchuk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kirill Kerzhakov in the 53rd minute of play forced Ukhta's goalkeeper Ruslan Baturov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Металлург's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniil Tatushin in the 55th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniil Tatushin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruslan Baturov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vyacheslav Balyasinskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ukhta's Ruslan Baturov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Ukhta from getting a goal against them. After 64 played minutes Ukhta got a freekick which was hit by Igor Dimitradze. If Mikhail Hadarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikhail Hadarins short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Ruslan Baturov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 79th minute of the match Lev Filipchuk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hristofor Averchenko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kirill Kerzhakov might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruslan Baturov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kirill Kerzhakov ran back to his position shaking his head. Mikhail Hadarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Металлург supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Металлург would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
