Klim Shefner started the match with the kick off. Ruslan Levidov hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Artur Klopov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oleg Akunin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oleg Akunin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Klopov having to interfere. Klim Shefner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Klopov having to interfere. Klim Shefner struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Artur Klopov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magadan. Kazan's Artur Klopov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oleg Akunin in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Ruslan Levidov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kazan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magadan the free kick. After 14 played minutes Kazan got a freekick which was hit by Ruslan Levidov. Artur Klopov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klim Shefner's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. German Svetlov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Innokentiy Kalgashkin having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klim Shefner in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Klopov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. German Svetlov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Innokentiy Kalgashkin having to interfere. Oleg Akunin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Artur Klopov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerasim Korolev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Klopov having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kazan's zone, Oleg Akunin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Klopov came out of the goal and Oleg Akunin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when German Svetlov made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Konstantin Tochilin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kazan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magadan the free kick. Konstantin Tochilin kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Oleg Akunin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magadan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oleg Akunin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, German Svetlov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kazan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magadan the free kick. After 59 played minutes Kazan got a freekick which was hit by German Svetlov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oleg Akunin got free with Artur Klopov in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. German Svetlov scored 1-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Innokentiy Kalgashkin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Oleg Akunin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kazan's Konstantin Tochilin got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Konstantin Tochilin off the ground. After a rather tough play, Kazan's Konstantin Tochilin got a free kick in the 70th minute. Oleg Akunin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Artur Klopov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kazan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Klim Shefner scored to the left of an out of position Artur Klopov, making the score, 1-1. If Klim Shefner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klim Shefners short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Artur Klopov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Klim Shefner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Klopov was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Artur Klopov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klim Shefner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klim Shefner in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Klopov saved Kazan from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Oleg Akunin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Klopov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.
