In the 5th minute Innokentiy Golubev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikhail Rublev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Norilsk FC's Mikhail Rublev got control of the ball when Filimon Deminskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantino Duval blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konstantin Kolobov having to make a save. Constantino Duval might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Konstantin Kolobov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantino Duval ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Norilsk FC booed when Pyatigorsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timofey Orekhov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikhail Rublev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Innokentiy Golubev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norilsk FC's Petr Baklanov got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Norilsk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoriy Shustov to maneuver through the defense. When Norilsk FC's Constantino Duval in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pyatigorsk's goalie prevented a goal. Mikhail Rublev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Innokentiy Golubev, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantino Duval stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Norilsk FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Valeriy Nekrasov hit a great ball. Mikhail Rublev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Innokentiy Golubev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Filimon Deminskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikhail Rublev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konstantin Kolobov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Duval in the 62nd minute of the match. Norilsk FC's Grigoriy Shustov got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filimon Deminskiy in the 66th minute of play forced Norilsk FC's goalkeeper Mikhail Rublev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Innokentiy Golubev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikhail Rublev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Filimon Deminskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikhail Rublev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Constantino Duval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitaliy Leonov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Innokentiy Golubev notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Norilsk FC's Mikhail Rublev. Mikhail Rublev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Innokentiy Golubev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pyatigorsk's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
