Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arseniy Korvatskiy took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Mikhail Larionov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dmitriy Akhmedzhanov came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Cherepovets FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dmitriy Akhmedzhanov couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Norilsk's Valeriy Dvolaitskiy got a free kick in the 12th minute. Yakov Vlasov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arseniy Korvatskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mikhail Larionov came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Norilsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikhail Larionov couldn't finish the play. If Evgeniy Kuchmasov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikhail Larionov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arseniy Korvatskiy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yakov Vlasov came out and tried to block the shot, but Arseniy Korvatskiy slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 41st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cherepovets FC's Arseniy Korvatskiy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yakov Vlasov. That made the score 4-0 after 44 minutes of play. Yakov Vlasov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arseniy Korvatskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikhail Larionov was the one to do the kick off. Roman Bogdanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evgeniy Kuchmasov in the 54th minute of play. 4-1 became the score in the 56th minute when Mikhail Larionov elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Evgeniy Kuchmasov might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Bogdanov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evgeniy Kuchmasov ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Norilsk's zone, Nikita Larichev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yakov Vlasov came out of the goal and Nikita Larichev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Evgeniy Kuchmasov notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Cherepovets FC's Roman Bogdanov. Roman Bogdanov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Cherepovets FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Nikita Larichev hit a great ball. Ruslan Bogdanov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roman Bogdanov. Cherepovets FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cherepovets FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
