Nikita Boyarinov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikhail Bulavka during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Boris Gainetdinov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Nikita Boyarinov made a precise shot to the right of Boris Gainetdinov. Perm HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Perm HC's zone, Yaroslav Gromov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Gainetdinov came out of the goal and Yaroslav Gromov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Perm HC's Valeriy Faizullin got a free kick in the 26th minute. Elista FC's Yaroslav Gromov got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Elista FC booed when Perm HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Polikarp Ustinov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Yaroslav Gromov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Gainetdinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Perm HC's goal looked a bit too open when Nikita Boyarinov came free, but Boris Gainetdinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borislav Bludvin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Boris Gainetdinov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikita Boyarinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Boris Gainetdinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikita Boyarinov in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Nikita Boyarinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Gainetdinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Yaroslav Gromov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
