Guriy Rutkevich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute of the match Valentin Lytkin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Sazonov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Nikolay Kovalev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tyumen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Leonid Sikun scored to the left of an out of position Adrian Sazonov, making the score, 1-0. Guriy Rutkevich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aleksey Tymko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksey Tymko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Sazonov having to interfere. After some careless play in the Tver defense, Guriy Rutkevich kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerasim Volkov. The Tver fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerasim Volkov should have stopped the shot. Daniil Karliev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40thth minute of the game Leonid Sikun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tyumen's Adrian Sazonov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Leonid Sikun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tver's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonid Sikun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Sazonov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marat Ermakov kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 47 minutes, Marat Ermakov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tyumen and the Tver players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tyumen getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Marat Ermakov hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Adrian Sazonov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksey Tymko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guriy Rutkevich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerasim Volkov having to interfere. Adrian Sazonov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonid Sikun in the 63rd minute of the match. Tyumen's Adrian Sazonov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksey Tymko in the 64th minute of play. Aleksey Tymko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Sazonov having to make a save. In the 78th minute of the match Nikolay Kovalev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Sazonov skillfully saved the ball. Tyumen's Adrian Sazonov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Sikun in the 81st minute of play. Aleksey Tymko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 91 minutes, Leonid Sikun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tver's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonid Sikun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Leonid Sikun notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Tyumen's Adrian Sazonov. Adrian Sazonov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Tyumen's zone, Leonid Sikun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Sazonov came out of the goal and Leonid Sikun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 100th minute Aleksey Tymko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Sazonov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
