Ilya Astakhov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Frolov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boris Frolov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ilya Astakhov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Afanasiy Svetlanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wild Lions FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Afanasiy Svetlanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sochi getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ruslan Chekletsov hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes Sochi got a freekick which was hit by Ruslan Chekletsov. Boris Frolov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilya Astakhov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Vladimir Drozdov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wild Lions FC.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sochi the free kick. After a rather tough play, Wild Lions FC.'s Vladimir Drozdov got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Felix Mamontov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladislav Prilutskiy in the 24th minute of play. Nikolay Komissarov hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Roman Minkov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ilya Astakhov. Sochi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Boris Frolov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wild Lions FC.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Frolov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilya Astakhov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilya Astakhov was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Boris Frolov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Boris Frolov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ilya Astakhov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boris Frolov's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Mikhail Brazhnikov kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 47th minute Boris Frolov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilya Astakhov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Vladislav Prilutskiy made the kick off in the second half. When Wild Lions FC.'s Boris Frolov in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sochi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 54th minute of the match Vladimir Drozdov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilya Astakhov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Boris Frolov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilya Astakhov having to make a save. In the 56th minute Boris Frolov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilya Astakhov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wild Lions FC.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Boris Frolov in the 57th minute. A well done corner resulted in Vsevolod Afanasenko drilling the ball in to score 3-0 behind Sochi's goalkeeper. Ilya Astakhov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afanasiy Svetlanov in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Frolov in the 64th minute of play forced Sochi's goalkeeper Ilya Astakhov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vsevolod Afanasenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilya Astakhov having to interfere. If Boris Frolov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Boris Frolov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ilya Astakhov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boris Frolov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilya Astakhov having to interfere. Filipp Doroshenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilya Astakhov having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boris Frolov in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilya Astakhov saved Sochi from getting behind. If Boris Frolov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ilya Astakhov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Frolov in the 86th minute of play. A hard shot 95 in the game by Adam Kochinov from a close distance when the talented Felix Mamontov managed to make a qualified save. Wild Lions FC.'s players were relieved. Wild Lions FC.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
