Yakov Osipov came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Viktor Kvasha could save by the left post. 6 minutes into the match, Zhukovsky's goalkeeper Viktor Kvasha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yakov Osipov. After 13 minutes, Vitaliy Igonkin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tomsk and the Zhukovsky players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Tomsk's zone, Klement Sadlowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timur Konovalov came out of the goal and Klement Sadlowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Zhukovsky booed when Tomsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eliseev didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Yakov Osipov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zhukovsky's Viktor Kvasha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gennadiy Kovalev in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitaliy Igonkin in the 67th minute of play forced Zhukovsky's goalkeeper Viktor Kvasha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Tomsk's Timur Konovalov got control of the ball when Valentin Dudarenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Klement Sadlowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Timur Konovalov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Zhukovsky getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Hristofor Artemev hit a great ball. Klement Sadlowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timur Konovalov having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Valentin Dudarenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 92 played minutes Tomsk got a freekick which was hit by Ruslan Ignatov. Timur Konovalov was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arnold Kolganov. Timur Konovalov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantin Vorobiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klement Sadlowski in the 96th minute of play forced Tomsk's goalkeeper Timur Konovalov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
