Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aleksey Kaptsevich started the match with the kick off. Arkadiy Zykov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksandr Kiselev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 6 minutes, Daniil Lagunov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniil Lagunov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Daniil Lagunov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fedor Zhdanov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Cherepovets's Dmitriy Byshovets got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Klim Belousov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cherepovets's Fedor Zhdanov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 15 played minutes Samara FC got a freekick which was hit by Roman Zharov. Aleksandr Kiselev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egor Danilov during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Egor Danilov hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Aleksey Kaptsevich struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Arkadiy Zykov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cherepovets. Arkadiy Zykov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aleksey Kaptsevich's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. If Aleksandr Kiselev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Cherepovets's Aleksandr Kiselev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arkadiy Zykov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Nikolay Vikulov fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samara FC's protests and gave Nikolay Vikulov a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Samara FC's Nikolay Vikulov got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Samara FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cherepovets the free kick. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Samara FC! In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Cherepovets. Filimon Silin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arkadiy Zykov. 1-1. Aleksandr Kiselev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiy Zykov having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Aleksandr Kiselev succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 67th playminute. In the 75th match minute, Samara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afanasiy Barchuk to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th match minute, Samara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egor Danilov to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Samara FC's goalkeeper Arkadiy Zykov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Cherepovets's Aleksandr Kiselev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arkadiy Zykov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Cherepovets's Aleksey Kaptsevich dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 97th minute, Aleksey Kaptsevich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cherepovets's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
