An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Malkevich in the 5th minute of play forced Biysk HC's goalkeeper Georgiy Demin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stanislav Malkevich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pavel Gusarov came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Kyzyl FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Gusarov couldn't finish the play. If Stanislav Malkevich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egor Radugin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evgeniy Karamzin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Emmanuil Ginev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Stanislav Malkevich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georgiy Demin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kyzyl FC's Stanislav Malkevich got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stanislav Malkevich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Georgiy Demin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Gusarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kyzyl FC's zone, Egor Radugin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emmanuil Ginev came out of the goal and Egor Radugin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Georgiy Demin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavel Gusarov in the 62nd minute. After 66 minutes, Rudolf Glinskiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Biysk HC and the Kyzyl FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Stanislav Malkevich sped through Biysk HC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Georgiy Demin. Biysk HC's Evgeniy Karamzin got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 played minutes Kyzyl FC got a freekick which was hit by Lazar Alhimov. Egor Radugin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evgeniy Karamzin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanuil Ginev having to interfere. The Biysk HC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kyzyl FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Kyzyl FC.
