Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fedosey Matushinskiy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sergey Pevtsov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanuil Ginev having to interfere. The supporters of Smolensk booed when Kyzyl FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timofey Gusev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikolay Mikhailov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Malkevich in the 13th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Kyzyl FC got a freekick which was hit by Lazar Alhimov. After 18 minutes, Timofey Gusev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kyzyl FC and the Smolensk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Timofey Gusev kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Smolensk's Anatoliy Gronskiy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emmanuil Ginev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Lazar Alhimov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kyzyl FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Fedosey Matushinskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 57 minutes, Sergey Pevtsov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smolensk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergey Pevtsov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedosey Matushinskiy in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emmanuil Ginev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Kyzyl FC's Ivan Loshkarov got a free kick in the 66th minute. Rudolf Grigorenko, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kyzyl FC's Pavel Gusarov got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Smolensk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rostislav Kenenov to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Smolensk's zone, Yakov Naumov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolay Mikhailov came out of the goal and Yakov Naumov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fedosey Matushinskiy struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Emmanuil Ginev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smolensk. Anatoliy Gronskiy came free in the 90th minute and tried to tip the ball over Emmanuil Ginev, but to the joy of Kyzyl FC's supporters the ball went over. When the final whistle went the supporters of Kyzyl FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Smolensk side.
