The supporters of Cherkessk FC booed when Blagoveshchensk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikhail Zurabov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimir Lavrentev hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Stanislav Isakov put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nikita Lesnoy. 33 minutes into the match, Blagoveshchensk's goal looked a bit too open when Ippolit Grigoriev came free, but Stepan Shvetsov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blagoveshchensk's Stepan Shvetsov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ippolit Grigoriev in the 39th minute of play. Stepan Shvetsov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ippolit Grigoriev, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ippolit Grigoriev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stepan Shvetsov made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Marat Kiyanenko sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Cherkessk FC. Dmitriy Akhmedzhanov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stepan Shvetsov. 1-2. With a little luck, Blagoveshchensk's Stepan Shvetsov got control of the ball when Marat Kiyanenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stepan Shvetsov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ippolit Grigoriev, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Rostislav Moiseev fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cherkessk FC's protests and gave Rostislav Moiseev a yellow card for diving instead. Nikita Lesnoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislav Isakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marat Kiyanenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blagoveshchensk's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ippolit Grigoriev 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3.
