Natan Nikitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Bystrinin in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Vsevolod Bobylev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red-Black's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Энергетик the free kick. Vsevolod Bobylev hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Roman Lavrenkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yaroslav Lihachev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vsevolod Bobylev in the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Энергетик getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Artur Bystrinin hit a great ball. Natan Nikitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Bystrinin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natan Nikitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Bystrinin in the 38th minute of the match. Veniamin Lyubavin took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natan Nikitin. Natan Nikitin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Natan Nikitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Starozhilov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes of play, Энергетик's Trofim Veselov made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natan Nikitin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Энергетик were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pavel Dorofeev kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Red-Black got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuil Gribov. In the 63rd match minute, Red-Black was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Dorofeev to maneuver through the defense. Энергетик's Yaroslav Lihachev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Lavrenkov in the 69th minute of play. Vsevolod Bobylev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yaroslav Lihachev having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Lavrenkov in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yaroslav Lihachev saved Энергетик from getting behind. Natan Nikitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trofim Veselov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Roman Lavrenkov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yaroslav Lihachev was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Natan Nikitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Bystrinin in the 90th minute.
