Aleksandr Kostev had several of the Kiselevsk's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Andron Gatsunaev as he didn't even see the shot coming. Timofey Poduev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Vladimir Zaitsev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimir Zaitsev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stepan Takunov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stepan Takunov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kiselevsk were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after HEJA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valter Blyakhman took the corner. After taking down the ball on Kiselevsk's corner Valter Blyakhman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vladimir Zaitsev quite easily take care of the ball. Stepan Takunov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vladimir Zaitsev came out and tried to block the shot, but Stepan Takunov slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 57th minute. Vladimir Zaitsev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirill Filimonenkov in the 64th minute of play. Roman Lazurskiy's late challenge caught a Kiselevsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Lazurskiy helped the player get up and apologised. Roman Lazurskiy hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With a little luck, HEJA's Vladimir Zaitsev got control of the ball when Timofey Poduev tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Timofey Poduev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Timofey Poduev might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimir Zaitsev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timofey Poduev ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind HEJA's goalkeeper Vladimir Zaitsev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timofey Poduev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 minutes, Kirill Filimonenkov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kiselevsk and the HEJA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andron Gatsunaev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danila Pozharov in the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Kiselevsk's Stepan Takunov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. When the match was over Kiselevsk could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than HEJA throughout the match.
