An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatoliy Sheikin in the 19th minute of play forced Krylya Sovetov's goalkeeper Vladimir Golubkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Babaitsev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Kremenyuk having to interfere. When Vyacheslav Berdonosov fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vladikavkaz's protests and gave Vyacheslav Berdonosov a yellow card for diving instead. Vyacheslav Berdonosov kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Krylya Sovetov's Sergey Benigsen got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimir Garin scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladimir Golubkin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Viktor Korogodskiy in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Krylya Sovetov's Tenyo Kyuchukov. With a little luck, Krylya Sovetov's Vladimir Golubkin got control of the ball when Vyacheslav Berdonosov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tenyo Kyuchukov hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Tenyo Kyuchukov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Kremenyuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladikavkaz's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
