Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Irakliy Horuzhenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kalitva's supporters rose to their feet, but Irakliy Horuzhenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oleg Trofimov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Yulian Kohanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oleg Trofimov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Podolsk HC's goal looked a bit too open when Yulian Kohanov came free, but Oleg Trofimov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yulian Kohanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Trofimov having to interfere. Irakliy Horuzhenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Spartak Babka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matvey Vainshtein in the 18th minute of the match. Egor Bobrov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Spartak Babka having to make a save. FC Kalitva's Spartak Babka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matvey Vainshtein in the 24th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Egor Bobrov put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Spartak Babka. Matvey Vainshtein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oles Belyaev kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Matvey Vainshtein left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Podolsk HC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Matvey Vainshtein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yulian Kohanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egor Bobrov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 52nd match minute, Podolsk HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rostislav Kazachenok to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Podolsk HC defense, Yulian Kohanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oleg Trofimov. The Podolsk HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oleg Trofimov should have stopped the shot. After 60 played minutes FC Kalitva got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Pestov. After a rather tough play, FC Kalitva's Vladimir Margolin got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute of the match Egor Cheslavlev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Spartak Babka showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, FC Kalitva's goal looked a bit too open when Matvey Vainshtein came free, but Spartak Babka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Podolsk HC's Oleg Trofimov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irakliy Horuzhenko in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Podolsk HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elisey Kurdemov to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Podolsk HC's goal looked a bit too open when Yulian Kohanov came free, but Oleg Trofimov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Podolsk HC's zone, Irakliy Horuzhenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oleg Trofimov came out of the goal and Irakliy Horuzhenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimir Margolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Trofimov having to interfere. Yulian Kohanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Oleg Trofimov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th play minute Egor Bobrov came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Spartak Babka. 2-3. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of FC Kalitva:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Podolsk HC:s goal. Spartak Babka had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Egor Cheslavlev's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
