In the 4th minute, Zinoviy Bryadovoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Spartak Babka was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Spartak Babka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriy Gorlov in the 8th minute of play. Zinoviy Bryadovoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yulian Kohanov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladislav Peterimov having to make a save. Irakliy Horuzhenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladislav Peterimov having to interfere. Yulian Kohanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evgeniy Berezovskiy hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Zinoviy Bryadovoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Valeriy Gorlov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Spartak Babka. FC Kalitva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valeriy Gorlov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 39 minutes, Oles Belyaev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kalitva and the Vologda players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vologda booed when FC Kalitva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oles Belyaev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Yulian Kohanov fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vladislav Peterimov, passed just outside the right post.

Yulian Kohanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th minute, Zinoviy Bryadovoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valeriy Gorlov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Spartak Babka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zinoviy Bryadovoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kalitva's goalkeeper Spartak Babka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vladislav Peterimov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yulian Kohanov in the 68th minute of the match. Irakliy Horuzhenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Vladislav Peterimov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Spartak Babka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriy Gorlov in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Irakliy Horuzhenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Emmanuil Ryzhanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Kalitva's Irakliy Horuzhenko got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Vologda's zone, Yulian Kohanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladislav Peterimov came out of the goal and Yulian Kohanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valeriy Gorlov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vladislav Peterimov didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Kalitva's Yulian Kohanov shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. FC Kalitva's Spartak Babka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zinoviy Bryadovoy in the 97th minute of play. The FC Kalitva supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vologda's performance. The match ended with a win for Vologda.
