After 7 played minutes Norilsk got a freekick which was hit by Dmitriy Isaev. In the 8th minute Ivan Morozov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiy Kozhinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stepan Golovchenko during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Norilsk got a freekick which was hit by Stepan Golovchenko. Ivan Morozov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiy Kozhinov having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Anatoliy Nikonorenkov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arkadiy Kozhinov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Ivan Morozov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Norilsk's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Morozov came free, but Arkadiy Kozhinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Artur Iskander fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norilsk's protests and gave Artur Iskander a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Norilsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Iskander to maneuver through the defense. Sidor Aguzarov kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Taras Shagin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Arkadiy Kozhinov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anatoliy Nikonorenkov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 59 minute of play. Klim Gusev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dmitriy Isaev in the 65th minute of play. Vsevolod Ilyin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klim Gusev having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Elets FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irakliy Hairullov to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rostislav Gostimskiy during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rostislav Gostimskiy hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Klim Gusev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vsevolod Ilyin in the 84th minute of the match. Elets FC played a much better game than Norilsk and deserved their victory. The Norilsk players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
