In the 9th minute, Matvey Byshovets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Bespalov in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Aksenov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Igor Bespalov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Aksenov having to interfere. Vyacheslav Panfilov hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Boris Gromov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleksey Molchanov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Matvey Byshovets came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Lipetsk City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matvey Byshovets couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Vyacheslav Kondratiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Lipetsk City getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Matvey Byshovets hit a great ball. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Novocheboksarsk FC! 79 minutes into the match, Lipetsk City's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksey Molchanov came free, but Vasiliy Dolzhkovoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Vyacheslav Kondratiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Georgiy Velezhev, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Boris Gromov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Vasiliy Dolzhkovoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lipetsk City's Vasiliy Dolzhkovoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Lipetsk City from getting a goal against them. Vasiliy Dolzhkovoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksey Molchanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Novocheboksarsk FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
