After some careless play in the Lipetsk City defense, Eldar Smolskiy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vasiliy Dolzhkovoy. The Lipetsk City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vasiliy Dolzhkovoy should have stopped the shot. After 5 minutes of play, Salavat's Eldar Smolskiy made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vasiliy Dolzhkovoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filimon Ermoshin charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filimon Ermoshin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filimon Ermoshin hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 13 minutes of play, Lipetsk City's Igor Bespalov made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Belozerov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matvey Byshovets struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Valentin Belozerov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lipetsk City. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matvey Byshovets got free with Valentin Belozerov in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eldar Smolskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasiliy Dolzhkovoy having to interfere. Eldar Smolskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Lipetsk City's Vasiliy Dolzhkovoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eldar Smolskiy in the 52nd minute of play. Rudolf Linko charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rudolf Linko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Egor Tyulenev placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Lipetsk City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Salavat:s goal. In the 64th match minute, Salavat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matvey Konovalov to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, one of Lipetsk City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lipetsk City. When Salavat's Eldar Smolskiy in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lipetsk City's Vasiliy Dolzhkovoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Lipetsk City from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, Salavat's goal looked a bit too open when Matvey Byshovets came free, but Valentin Belozerov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Lipetsk City getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Sergey Emelyanov hit a great ball. Salavat played a much better game than Lipetsk City and deserved their victory. The Lipetsk City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
