Novotroitsk FC's Valeriy Osokin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksey Aksakov in the 14th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Aleksey Aksakov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nizhnekamsk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksey Aksakov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valeriy Osokin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Novotroitsk FC's zone, Aleksey Aksakov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valeriy Osokin came out of the goal and Aleksey Aksakov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feoktist Grodzenskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leonid Bolshakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feoktist Grodzenskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Rakhmanov having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Leonid Bolshakov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Novotroitsk FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Aleksey Aksakov scored to the left of an out of position Valeriy Osokin, making the score, 0-2. 83 minutes into the match, Novotroitsk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonid Bolshakov came free, but Valeriy Osokin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
