After 4 played minutes Nizhny Tagil got a freekick which was hit by Filipp Mileshko. With a little luck, Nizhny Tagil's Eduard Bokshin got control of the ball when Andrey Semchenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orest Uvarov might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georgiy Efimov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orest Uvarov ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute, Stanislav Bagration hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikhail Dogilev's late challenge caught a Nizhny Tagil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikhail Dogilev helped the player get up and apologised. If Orest Uvarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Orest Uvarov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Georgiy Efimov was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After 32 played minutes, Nizhny Tagil's Nikolay Andronikov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Georgiy Efimov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nizhny Tagil reached it. Vladimir Hidiyatullin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Nizhny Tagil's Valentin Lotkov got a free kick in the 38th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Vladimir Hidiyatullin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anapa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimir Hidiyatullin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orest Uvarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georgiy Efimov having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, David Drachevskiy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Georgiy Efimov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vyacheslav Chernyavskiy's late challenge caught a Nizhny Tagil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vyacheslav Chernyavskiy helped the player get up and apologised. Vyacheslav Chernyavskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 49th minute, Orest Uvarov made a precise shot to the right of Georgiy Efimov. Anapa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

The wind increased when Vladimir Hidiyatullin made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, David Drachevskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nizhny Tagil's supporters rose to their feet, but David Drachevskiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georgiy Efimov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimir Hidiyatullin struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Eduard Bokshin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anapa FC. Vladimir Hidiyatullin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard Bokshin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasiliy Hamenkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 68 minutes on the clock, Ruslan Kalinin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 67th minute, one of Nizhny Tagil:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nizhny Tagil. Andrey Semchenko walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Vladimir Hidiyatullin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eduard Bokshin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasiliy Hamenkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Vladimir Hidiyatullin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Bokshin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Drachevskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nizhny Tagil's Eduard Bokshin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Hidiyatullin in the 101st minute of play. Nizhny Tagil played a much better game than Anapa FC and deserved their victory. The Anapa FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
