An unexpectedly hard shot by Prokl Sysoev in the 3rd minute of play forced Nizhny Tagil's goalkeeper Eduard Bokshin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th match minute, SMOLENSK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirill Ageenkov to maneuver through the defense. Vyacheslav Kondrashev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Eduard Bokshin made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Stanislav Bagration hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afanasiy Noskov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SMOLENSK reached it. Vyacheslav Kondrashev in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eduard Bokshin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 95 minutes into the match, Nizhny Tagil's goal looked a bit too open when Prokl Sysoev came free, but Eduard Bokshin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SMOLENSK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
