Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aleksey Bessalov started the match with the kick off. Vsevolod Tsipko charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vsevolod Tsipko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Danil Trushkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Korolev, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Rustam Sharkevich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Timur Blagonadezhin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aleksey Bessalov scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danil Trushkov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Aleksey Bessalov came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Taganrog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksey Bessalov couldn't finish the play. Taganrog's Aleksey Bessalov got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gennadiy Ponomarev was a little too slow when Timur Blagonadezhin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-1. Gennadiy Ponomarev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Blagonadezhin in the 42nd minute of play. Danil Trushkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Korolev in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksey Bessalov in the 47th minute of play forced Kovrov's goalkeeper Danil Trushkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
If Aleksey Bessalov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taganrog's Vladimir Korolev got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksey Bessalov in the 89th minute of play forced Kovrov's goalkeeper Danil Trushkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Aleksey Bessalov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taganrog's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kovrov the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Timur Blagonadezhin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gennadiy Ponomarev was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Aleksey Bessalov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Danil Trushkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taganrog were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
