Aleksey Shiryaev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rostislav Tretyakov. Ufa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Ufa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Rusak to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timofey Dyachkov got free with Stepan Kanokov in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ufa's Andrey Taushev was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 23rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Timofey Dyachkov came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Ufa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timofey Dyachkov couldn't finish the play. Timofey Dyachkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stepan Kanokov having to interfere. Stepan Kanokov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrey Taushev, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The audience was convinced that Arseniy Rykunov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rostislav Tretyakov was relentless in the 40th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danila Bozhenov to make the kick off. If Timofey Dyachkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danila Bozhenov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rostislav Tretyakov having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Timofey Dyachkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ufa's supporters rose to their feet, but Timofey Dyachkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stepan Kanokov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Danila Bozhenov came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Ryazan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danila Bozhenov couldn't finish the play. Danila Bozhenov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
