Roman Helmskiy had several of the Novokuybyshevsk FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Anton Yugov as he didn't even see the shot coming. Grozny's Fedot Grigoriev got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Yugov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Helmskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Roman Helmskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Yugov having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Fedot Grigoriev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anton Yugov. The goal made the score 3-0. Rostislav Lytkin's late challenge caught a Grozny's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rostislav Lytkin helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Novokuybyshevsk FC got a freekick which was hit by Rostislav Lytkin. Roman Helmskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
