Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Elista's Rostislav Gonsevskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Bobylev in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Novomoskovsk FC's Konstantin Finogenov got a free kick in the 4th minute. Rostislav Gonsevskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Manevich in the 12th minute of play. Felix Bobylev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rostislav Gonsevskiy having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Elista's Oleg Chaika got a free kick in the 15th minute. Felix Bobylev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rostislav Gonsevskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Bobylev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Novomoskovsk FC's Sergey Orekhov got control of the ball when Grigoriy Bochkin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Anton Tyuhtin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Novomoskovsk FC booed when Elista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasiliy Davydov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Bobylev scored 0-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rostislav Gonsevskiy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

In the 52nd minute, Igor Tomskiy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anton Tyuhtin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Tyuhtin struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Sergey Orekhov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elista. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Novomoskovsk FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Elista:s goal. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Novomoskovsk FC! In the 71st minute, Igor Tomskiy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elista fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Yuriy Gaevskiy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergey Orekhov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Igor Tomskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sergey Orekhov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Tomskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sergey Orekhov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Tyuhtin, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Novomoskovsk FC's Felix Bobylev got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Bobylev struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Rostislav Gonsevskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Novomoskovsk FC. 98 minutes into the match, Elista's goal looked a bit too open when David Manevich came free, but Rostislav Gonsevskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Manevich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rostislav Gonsevskiy having to interfere. The Novomoskovsk FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Novomoskovsk FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
