Ippolit Eremenko hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. If Valeriy Bobylev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magadan:s Kondrat Aboneev showed great skill when he stopped Andrey Lobanov:s penalty. Kamensk-Uralsky FC's Oleg Korzin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Chislenko in the 17th minute of play. Oleg Korzin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Veniamin Zakrevskiy's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute Veniamin Zakrevskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Korzin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kondrat Aboneev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vyacheslav Rybakov in the 37th minute of play. Veniamin Zakrevskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Korzin having to interfere. Nikolay Yarustov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Kondrat Aboneev made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Kamensk-Uralsky FC's goalkeeper Oleg Korzin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Veniamin Zakrevskiy. Veniamin Zakrevskiy in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oleg Korzin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vyacheslav Rybakov might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kondrat Aboneev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vyacheslav Rybakov ran back to his position shaking his head. After 56 played minutes Magadan got a freekick which was hit by Danila Shimkus. 57 minutes into the match, Kamensk-Uralsky FC's Andrey Lobanov broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Stanislav Chislenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Korzin having to interfere. Kondrat Aboneev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vyacheslav Rybakov in the 73rd minute of the match. Veniamin Zakrevskiy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oleg Korzin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. If Nikolay Yarustov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yakov Aleksandrov hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Magadan's Efim Igrevskiy got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Andrey Lobanov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kondrat Aboneev skillfully saved the ball. When Veniamin Zakrevskiy came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Magadan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veniamin Zakrevskiy couldn't finish the play. Veniamin Zakrevskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Korzin having to interfere.
