Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vladivostok FC's Stepan Ubytkov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valeryan Dmitrenko hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th match minute, Novy Urengoy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeryan Dmitrenko to maneuver through the defense. 1-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Oleg Belyaev elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oleg Belyaev in the 13th minute of play forced Vladivostok FC's goalkeeper Andron Bakatin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kir Malofeev came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Novy Urengoy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kir Malofeev couldn't finish the play. After 18 played minutes Vladivostok FC got a freekick which was hit by Artem Kotov. Artem Kotov scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Potap Bauze, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kir Malofeev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Andron Bakatin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andron Bakatin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kir Malofeev, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vladivostok FC's zone, Kir Malofeev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andron Bakatin came out of the goal and Kir Malofeev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Novy Urengoy FC's Kir Malofeev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andron Bakatin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Oleg Belyaev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Oleg Belyaev made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Artem Kotov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kir Malofeev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andron Bakatin having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Stepan Ubytkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vladivostok FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stepan Ubytkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Vladivostok FC's Stepan Ubytkov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. After having played for 74 minutes, Stepan Ubytkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vladivostok FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stepan Ubytkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Novy Urengoy FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mark Luschilin hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Valeryan Dmitrenko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Novy Urengoy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vladivostok FC the free kick. The supporters of Vladivostok FC booed when Novy Urengoy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeryan Dmitrenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Novy Urengoy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stepan Ubytkov came free, but Potap Bauze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kir Malofeev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stepan Ubytkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Potap Bauze having to interfere. If Artem Kotov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vladivostok FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
