Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oleg Belyaev took the kick off in the first half of the match. Igor Adamovich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Potap Bauze having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Bryunin during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roman Bryunin hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Igor Adamovich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Novy Urengoy FC's Kir Malofeev got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mark Subbotin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kir Malofeev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Ippolit Shkultetskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artem Luzhin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Potap Bauze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petr Ostankin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ippolit Shkultetskiy in the 34th minute of play forced Tobolsk's goalkeeper Mark Subbotin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobolsk's Mark Subbotin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oleg Belyaev in the 38th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petr Ostankin was the one to do the kick off.
