Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mikhail Veselov took the kick off in the first half of the match. Guriy Lavrenkov's late challenge caught a Tver's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guriy Lavrenkov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Guriy Lavrenkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timur Melkumyantss short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Anatoliy Gantamirov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Blagoveshchensk booed when Tver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hristofor Belyavskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Stanislav Kononov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Timur Melkumyants had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute, Mikhail Veselov made a precise shot to the right of Anatoliy Gantamirov. Blagoveshchensk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Timur Melkumyants blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anatoliy Gantamirov having to make a save. If Mikhail Veselov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Blagoveshchensk's goal looked a bit too open when Mikhail Veselov came free, but Anatoliy Gantamirov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Mikhail Veselov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anatoliy Gantamirov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Timur Melkumyants had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stanislav Kononov to make the kick off. After 55th play minutes Mikhail Veselov shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Anatoliy Gantamirov and just under the crossbar into goal. Tver's Timur Melkumyants got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stanislav Kononov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tver's zone, Yuriy Suhanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikhail Agapkin came out of the goal and Yuriy Suhanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikhail Veselov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Anatoliy Gantamirov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timur Melkumyants in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anatoliy Gantamirov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Yuriy Suhanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tver's Timur Melkumyants in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blagoveshchensk's goalie prevented a goal. Guriy Lavrenkov got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Blagoveshchensk's Guriy Lavrenkov got a free kick in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikhail Veselov in the 89th minute of play forced Blagoveshchensk's goalkeeper Anatoliy Gantamirov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleksandr Konstantinov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
