In the 8thth minute of the game Timur Melkumyants who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novokuybyshevsk's Oleg Drashkovskiy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Konstantin Kirichenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mikhail Agapkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mikhail Veselov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oleg Drashkovskiy was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. From close distance Fedot Pegin pressed in the 1-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 41 minutes into the game. After having played for 46 minutes, Timur Melkumyants managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Konstantin Kirichenko to strike the kick off in the second half. Tver's Mikhail Agapkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Kirichenko in the 57th minute of play. Mikhail Veselov might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oleg Drashkovskiy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikhail Veselov ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute, Andrey Sur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oleg Drashkovskiy made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Mikhail Veselov sent off a good shot on target. Konstantin Kirichenko struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Mikhail Agapkin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Novokuybyshevsk. Oleg Drashkovskiy came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Tver's Timur Melkumyants. But to his dismay, Timur Melkumyants quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Fedot Pegin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikhail Agapkin having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Fedot Pegin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikhail Agapkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Novokuybyshevsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrey Sur to maneuver through the defense. Tver's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
