Sergey Dobropolskiy started the match with the kick off. Danila Altaiskiy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilya Babakhanov having to make a save. 7 minutes into the match, Angarsk's goalkeeper Nikita Zhelobinskiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Potap Muhortov. Ippolit Kirillov charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ippolit Kirillov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Angarsk:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Grozny FC:s goal. Sergey Dobropolskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Potap Muhortov got free with Nikita Zhelobinskiy in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Potap Muhortov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikita Zhelobinskiy having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Angarsk's goalkeeper Nikita Zhelobinskiy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute Sergey Dobropolskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikita Zhelobinskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Grozny FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Saveliev to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruslan Varabin was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Sergey Dobropolskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikita Zhelobinskiy was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After 56 played minutes Angarsk got a freekick which was hit by Fedor Dulskiy. If Ruslan Varabin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Grozny FC's Afanasiy Horoshunov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikita Zhelobinskiy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 84 minutes into the match, Grozny FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruslan Varabin came free, but Ilya Babakhanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sergey Dobropolskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
