Kemerovo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arkadiy Burakovskiy 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. A collision led to Oktyabrsky FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Stepan Karyaka hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Denis Sedelnikov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Oktyabrsky FC's Artur Perepechenko didn't even have to move. Filipp Yasnogor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Artur Perepechenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur Perepechenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedor Gizyuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Oktyabrsky FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Arseniy Alhimenko hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Georgiy Konovalov got free with Georgiy Kovtun in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Roman Andreichenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filipp Yasnogor in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Perepechenko saved Oktyabrsky FC from getting behind. Georgiy Konovalov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Georgiy Kovtun made a huge save. Arkadiy Burakovskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Perepechenko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedor Gizyuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Filipp Yasnogor took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Perepechenko. Artur Perepechenko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Arkadiy Burakovskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arkadiy Burakovskiy to make the kick off. Georgiy Kovtun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georgiy Konovalov, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Boris Prozorov's late challenge caught a Oktyabrsky FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boris Prozorov helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Oktyabrsky FC booed when Kemerovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Prozorov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Georgiy Konovalov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Popov during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, one of Kemerovo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kemerovo. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oktyabrsky FC's goalkeeper Artur Perepechenko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 78 minutes, Filipp Yasnogor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kemerovo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipp Yasnogor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arkadiy Burakovskiy struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Georgiy Kovtun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oktyabrsky FC. The supporters of Kemerovo booed when Oktyabrsky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiy Burakovskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georgiy Konovalov in the 88th minute of play forced Kemerovo's goalkeeper Georgiy Kovtun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Arkadiy Burakovskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Arkadiy Burakovskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. Georgiy Kovtun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
