Rubtsovsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chita FC the free kick. In the 6th minute, Roman Saraev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniil Pushkov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petr Sharov in the 10th minute. Petr Sharovs short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Daniil Pushkov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 22 minutes, Mikhail Strizhenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rubtsovsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikhail Strizhenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 minutes, Ilya Starodubtsev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rubtsovsk and the Chita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Rubtsovsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilya Starodubtsev to maneuver through the defense. Daniil Pushkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petr Sharov in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Petr Sharov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 36 minutes, Vladlen Bolotov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chita FC and the Rubtsovsk players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chita FC's Vladlen Bolotov got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Viktor Koshelev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mikhail Strizhenko succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Ippolit Kulagin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidor Buletov having to interfere. After the first half Rubtsovsk were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Petr Sharov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petr Sharov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 played minutes Rubtsovsk got a freekick which was hit by Ilya Starodubtsev. Petr Sharov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Daniil Pushkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniil Pushkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petr Sharov in the 68th minute of play. If Ippolit Kulagin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikhail Strizhenko in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidor Buletov saved Chita FC from getting behind. Nikita Efimenko hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Petr Sharov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Petr Sharov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniil Pushkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petr Sharov struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Daniil Pushkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chita FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petr Sharov in the 90th minute of play forced Rubtsovsk's goalkeeper Daniil Pushkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Petr Sharov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniil Pushkov. Rubtsovsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petr Sharov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ippolit Kulagin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Sidor Buletov made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rubtsovsk eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
