The audience was convinced that Albert Aganov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frol Belyakov was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Kurgan FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Evgeniy Denisov scored to the left of an out of position Ruslan Chertorogov, making the score, 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zinoviy Dvortsov to strike the kick off in the second half. Venedikt Korolev charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Venedikt Korolev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andrey Verigin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frol Belyakov. Orenburg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zinoviy Dvortsov in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruslan Chertorogov saved Kurgan FC from getting behind. Ruslan Chertorogov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zinoviy Dvortsov, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Ruslan Chertorogov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinoviy Dvortsov in the 67th minute of the match. Zinoviy Dvortsov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruslan Chertorogov having to make a save. Frol Belyakov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Aganov's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Orenburg's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Aganov came free, but Frol Belyakov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Aganov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frol Belyakov having to make a save. Kurgan FC's Albert Aganov got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Aganov in the 99th minute of play forced Orenburg's goalkeeper Frol Belyakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frol Belyakov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Aganov, who was totally free with the ball in the 101st minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Orenburg had won after a very even match.
