Zinoviy Gorshkov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Ernest Misikov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 11 minutes into the match, Nizhny Tagil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matvey Kosinov came free, but Ernest Misikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Aleksandr Osinskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernest Misikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matvey Kosinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Yakov Antoshin hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Kazan's Marat Miheev got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Kazan booed when Nizhny Tagil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislav Pershin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matvey Kosinov did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Ernest Misikov 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to Nizhny Tagil FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Yaroslav Skibinevskiy hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes, Kazan's Stanislav Strizhenko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernest Misikov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kazan reached it. Ernest Misikov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zinoviy Gorshkov in the 42nd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Nizhny Tagil FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kazan:s goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gleb Kuznetsov was the one to do the kick off. Samuil Rusakov kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Rudolf Makarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gleb Kuznetsov, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Marat Miheev's late challenge caught a Nizhny Tagil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marat Miheev helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Marat Miheev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Stepan Benediktov, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 61 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rudolf Makarov was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rudolf Makarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gleb Kuznetsov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aleksandr Osinskiy hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Gleb Kuznetsov took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rudolf Makarov. Rudolf Makarov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Aleksandr Osinskiy hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernest Misikov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 played minutes Nizhny Tagil FC got a freekick which was hit by Aleksandr Osinskiy. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kazan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nizhny Tagil FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
