Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vladimir Replyanskiy took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Petrozavodsk booed when Seversk HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evgeniy Agranovskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Evgeniy Agranovskiy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seversk HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petrozavodsk the free kick. A collision led to Seversk HC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Evgeniy Agranovskiy hit a great ball. If Aleksey Mordvinov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Stepan Zykov put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Prokl Bogdanov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Gorbachev in the 29th minute of play forced Petrozavodsk's goalkeeper Prokl Bogdanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prokl Bogdanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stepan Zykov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigoriy Kolobov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aleksey Mordvinov in the 35th minute. Prokl Bogdanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stepan Zykov in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Stepan Zykov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prokl Bogdanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Seversk HC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Gorbachev to make the kick off. Grigoriy Kolobov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rustam Monaenkov in the 51st minute of play. After 52 played minutes Seversk HC got a freekick which was hit by Klim Demyanenko. Seversk HC's Grigoriy Kolobov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksey Mordvinov in the 57th minute of play. Klim Demyanenko's late challenge caught a Petrozavodsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klim Demyanenko helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Seversk HC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Klim Demyanenko hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Seversk HC's Klim Demyanenko got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Petrozavodsk's goalkeeper Prokl Bogdanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stepan Zykov. In the 71st minute Aleksey Mordvinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoriy Kolobov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksey Mordvinov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Grigoriy Kolobov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seversk HC's Grigoriy Kolobov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Replyanskiy in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Petrozavodsk's Lev Markov got a free kick in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Petrozavodsk's zone, Stepan Zykov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prokl Bogdanov came out of the goal and Stepan Zykov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prokl Bogdanov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. The Petrozavodsk supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Seversk HC's performance. The match ended with a win for Seversk HC.
