Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Moscow's Irakliy Kudryavtsev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adam Kobak struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Ippolit Umantsev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgorod FC. The supporters of Belgorod FC booed when Moscow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vsevolod Kogatko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irakliy Kudryavtsev might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stanislav Malafeev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Irakliy Kudryavtsev ran back to his position shaking his head. Irakliy Kudryavtsev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Belgorod FC booed when Moscow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Ermakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rudolf Ermakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislav Malafeev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irakliy Kudryavtsev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes of play, Belgorod FC's Anton Bobylev made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ippolit Umantsev was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Irakliy Kudryavtsev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stanislav Malafeev. That made the score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. Irakliy Kudryavtsev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Stanislav Malafeev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Irakliy Kudryavtsev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislav Malafeev having to interfere. Rudolf Ermakovs short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Stanislav Malafeev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
53 minutes into the match, Irakliy Kudryavtsev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stanislav Malafeev. Belgorod FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Irakliy Kudryavtsev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ippolit Umantsev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Kobak in the 58th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Makar Cherepovskiy took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Ippolit Umantsev to make any attempt to save it. Adam Kobak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanislav Malafeev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irakliy Kudryavtsev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adam Kobak came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Belgorod FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Kobak couldn't finish the play. Ippolit Umantsev made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Anton Bobylev sent off a good shot on target. Vsevolod Kogatko got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Anton Bobylev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ippolit Umantsev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Kobak's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Ermakov in the 90th minute of play forced Belgorod FC's goalkeeper Stanislav Malafeev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
