After 33 played minutes Kislovodsk FC got a freekick which was hit by Artem Mishulin. Klim Frolov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Abramkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veniamin Demyanenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Dimitrovgrad booed when Kislovodsk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artem Mishulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vladimir Abramkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Dimitrovgrad's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
