After 17 played minutes Chelyabinsk FC got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Kotuhin. When Roman Mankowski came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Dimitrovgrad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Mankowski couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Gaidamakin during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Igor Gaidamakin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Igor Dzerzhinskiy struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Boris Tretyakov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelyabinsk FC. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimir Abramkin made a kick off. Boris Tretyakov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikhail Katolichuk in the 54th minute of play. Pavel Kotuhin charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pavel Kotuhin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pavel Kotuhin kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Pavel Kotuhin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Roman Mankowski put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gerasim Evsikov. Gerasim Evsikov made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Roman Mankowski sent off a good shot on target. Vasiliy Pokrovskiy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gerasim Evsikov. Chelyabinsk FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Igor Dzerzhinskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Chelyabinsk FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dimitrovgrad's performance. The match ended with a win for Dimitrovgrad.
