Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Yakutsk FC's Rustam Kovtun started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rustam Kovtun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Charnetskiy got free with Eduard Ostapovich in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Charnetskiy struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Eduard Ostapovich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yakutsk FC. 8 minutes into the match, Yakutsk FC's Rustam Kovtun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduard Ostapovich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Charnetskiy kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 10thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Sterlitamak FC's keeper Eduard Ostapovich was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. With a little luck, Sterlitamak FC's Eduard Ostapovich got control of the ball when David Charnetskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rasul Myasnov came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Sterlitamak FC's Bronislav Karpikov. But to his dismay, Bronislav Karpikov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Oleg Kuksa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. A collision led to Sterlitamak FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Timofey Kutikov hit a great ball. When Rustam Kovtun fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yakutsk FC's protests and gave Rustam Kovtun a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Yakutsk FC booed when Sterlitamak FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oleg Kuksa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bronislav Karpikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rasul Myasnov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Sterlitamak FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriy Zabolotnikov to maneuver through the defense. Oleg Kuksa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasul Myasnov having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Sterlitamak FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Charnetskiy came free, but Eduard Ostapovich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rustam Kovtun in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduard Ostapovich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Charnetskiy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduard Ostapovich read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Eduard Ostapovich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rustam Kovtun, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Sterlitamak FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rustam Kovtun came free, but Eduard Ostapovich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduard Ostapovich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Charnetskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rustam Kovtun in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduard Ostapovich saved Sterlitamak FC from getting behind. Igor Pechenev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sterlitamak FC's Eduard Ostapovich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Charnetskiy in the 96th minute of play. The Sterlitamak FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Yakutsk FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
