Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Emmanuil Kasyanov started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Prokopyevsk got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Buznikin. After 7 played minutes, Izhevsk's Anton Nikonov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Viktor Konopasevich came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Izhevsk reached it. Viktor Konopasevich came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Izhevsk's Emmanuil Kasyanov. But to his dismay, Emmanuil Kasyanov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Emmanuil Kasyanov hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Stanislav Buznikin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maksim Averkovich showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zinoviy Trochin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Maksim Averkovich when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 36th match minute, Prokopyevsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksey Efimov to maneuver through the defense. Zinoviy Trochin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Izhevsk's Emmanuil Kasyanov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viktor Konopasevich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Igor Gerasimov fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prokopyevsk's protests and gave Igor Gerasimov a yellow card for diving instead. If Adolf Baskakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Izhevsk were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolf Baskakov got free with Viktor Konopasevich in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zinoviy Trochin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maksim Averkovich read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Timofey Golubev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Konopasevich having to interfere. The supporters of Izhevsk booed when Prokopyevsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksandr Tavkelev didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Emmanuil Kasyanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Prokopyevsk's goalkeeper Viktor Konopasevich had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolf Baskakov. In the 70th minute Zinoviy Trochin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maksim Averkovich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute Emmanuil Kasyanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Konopasevich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timofey Berbidaev in the 76th minute of play forced Prokopyevsk's goalkeeper Viktor Konopasevich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Prokopyevsk's David Gagarin tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Timofey Golubev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute of the match Mark Borovoy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maksim Averkovich skillfully saved the ball.
